Voted the most beautiful sports arena in the world, the Estadio BBVA Bancomer replaced the Estadio Tecnológico as the home of Monterrey CF, ending 63 years of residency at that stadium. Opened in 2015, the capacity of the ground stands at 51,348.

The aluminium cladding on the façade is a nod to the heritage of the city and it’s history of steel production, while also creating air flow to ventilate the stadium, keeping both spectators and players comfortable. The coating work was bespoke, done to match the team colours of Monterrey exactly.

The architecture and scenery are truly breathtaking; the stadium’s sweeping shape framing the mountainous backdrop perfectly. The team at C&O are proud to have played a role in its conception.
